Hello!

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ivonet Torres and I am a bilingual real estate agent serving our Siouxland area. I love what I do and enjoy even more the relationships that I've established in knowing my clients that I'm lucky enough to now call friends. Over the past year, I've assisted several families with the sale or purchase of a home and land, many of whom are first time homebuyers; the feeling of handing them their keys to their dream home at the end of the process is by far my favorite part of the job. In my spare time, I volunteer for our Siouxland Chamber of Commerce as a Green Jacket Ambassador where I take the time get to know our new business owners and assist them in promoting and marketing their business large or small. I am a proud supporter of the economic development in our area and look forward to all of the great projects Sioux City has in store for our community. I currently sit on the Executive Chamber Committee and am their Chair for the Annual Key Leadership Welcome Dinner.

In between it all, I am also a theater director and one of four founders to Siouxland's first bilingual theater program called El Proyecto Dramático del Teatro New Stage Players located in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Raising a family with roots in Siouxland has always been important to me. I am lucky to call my high school sweetheart my husband and have two wonderful children...with a third on the way due in March!

Over the past 18 years in previous roles in hospitality management and the events industry, for me it has always been about connecting with people. That connection of welcoming guests with a smile and doing everything we can to ensure our guests and organizers have an unforgettable experience each and every time is so important to me. At events, I enjoyed being a big part of their special day and seeing their project come to fruition after years or, for some, a lifetime of planning. In real estate, I find that here I can also be part of one of the greatest days of a person's life; the day that we give them the keys to a place they will soon call home where they will begin a new and exciting stage of their life. I love guiding my clients every step of the way.
